It takes about 2.5 hours to go from Stockholm to Tranås by train. From Norrköping you get to Tranås in 1 hour and 15 minutes. Commuting to Linköping is easy and takes no more than 45 minutes. You get to Nässjö in 30 minutes and to Jönköping in little more than an hour. In 2010 commuting will be even easier and faster, as commuter train will go all the way from Norrköping to Jönköping.
